When my son was first born, I did almost all of my shopping for the things he would need at Bubs n Grubs. My sister got me hooked on them and even though he is no longer a baby, I still shop there because the online store has items that a growing child needs or wants. I went there the other day because he asked me if he could have a table and chair in his room. He loves to color and draw and even though he is only five years old, he is pretty talented! There are some common medicines available in the market that are used to treat the fever in children, but one must be very careful to provide any kind of medicine to a fever patient because wrong medicine in such situation can cause more problems. The most commonly used drugs to treat the fever are acetaminophen (sample brand name Tylenol®), ibuprofen (sample brand names: Advil®, Motrin®). These drugs help in reducing the discomfort level of a child by decreasing the body temperature up to 1.5^oC. If your child is below 18 years, then you should ask him to avoid the use of Aspirin because it can cause a rare, but serious illness that is named as Reye Syndrome. These drugs can be given after every 4-6 hours, but make sure that you are taking these drugs in a proper amount as described by your physician otherwise it can cause some serious illness or you can also face some serious side-effects.
